Mercedes-Benz CLS
Mercedes-Benz put up for sale an update of the CLS-Class and CLS-Class Shooting Brake. The first is a saloon four-door with a look of a coupe that brings in sales since the end of 2010 (more information); the second is the version with bodywork family that went on sale in 2012 (more information). Mercedes-Benz has added engines to the range, there is a new change, automatic, 9-speed, new items of equipment, and a look of the exterior and interior different. Although in the rest of the article only cite the CLS-Class, the changes are also applicable in its entirety to the CLS-Class Shooting Brake.
There are currently four versions, two Diesel and two petrol. The diesels are the CLS 250 BlueTEC (204 HP and no new developments with respect to the previous one) and the CLS 350 BlueTEC (258 HP, 6 HP more than the previous). The gasoline is referred to as CLS-400 (333 HP, replaces the previous CLS 350 306 HP) and CLS 500 (408 HP and no news). The CLS-400 has a six-cylinder engine, 3.5-liter engine and two turbochargers. The former had 306 HP and was atmospheric. Another novelty is that later there will be another version with a Diesel engine: CLS 220 BlueTEC. Has the engine of 2.1 liters of displacement and 170 HP Mercedes-Benz uses in many of their models.
The versions more affordable (CLS 250 BlueTEC Coupe and CLS 250 BlueTEC Shooting Brake) are on sale for 63 900 and 65 900 euros respectively. It is a similar price to that of an Audi A7 Sportback and clearly superior to that of a Jaguar XF (comparative tab). A Mercedes-Benz E-Class with the same engine and the same gearbox is about 9000 euros cheaper (comparative tab).
Mercedes-Benz CLS (2015). Version 500 4Matic
The CLS-Class is the second model of Mercedes-Benz that uses the new gearbox nine-speed 9G-TRONIC (the first model was the E-Class 350 BlueTEC). This box is standard on all versions CLS 220 BlueTEC, CLS 250 BlueTEC, CLS 350 BlueTEC and CLS 500. The CLS 400 carries an automatic gearbox torque converter and seven speeds. The traction is always at the rear wheels, although the versions CLS 250 BlueTEC, CLS 350 BlueTEC, CLS 400 and CLS 500 may have a system of all-wheel drive (4MATIC).
Just as in the range replaced, there is the AMG versions, which are two: CLS 63 AMG (557 HP) and CLS 63 AMG 4MATIC S (585 HP). Both have an engine having eight cylinders in V, with 5.5 litres of displacement and two turbochargers. The version of lower-power, rear-wheel drive and body four-door costs 138 400 euros, while the more powerful with the same body and all-wheel drive (CLS 63 AMG S 4MATIC) has a price of 156 000 euros. The Shooting Brake versions are 2500 euros more expensive. An Audi RS 7 Sportback and the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, both with petrol engine of 560 horses, are on sale for 138 720 and 152 600 euros respectively. A Porsche Panamera Turbo S, which has an engine of 570 HP, has a price of 207 334 euros (comparative tab).
The CLS-Class of 2015 has new headlights and a grille and bumper with a different design. The new headlights include a series of light-emitting diodes (leds) for all functions such as lighting (replace the xenon). Are available as an option for a few, also of leds, with advanced lighting. These headlights Mercedes-Benz gives them the name of MULTIBEAM LED.
The key point of the headlights MULTIBEAM LED is a module (there is one in each headlight) composed by 24 leds individually controlled. An electronic control unit, using the information captured by a camera mounted behind the windshield, determines which of these leds is lit, and with what intensity does. Thus, it is able to vary the light pattern up to 100 times per second and adjust the intensity of illumination of each led in 255 levels. With this technology it is always get the maximum light possible, avoiding the glare of the other road users.

-Class. Model 2015
The changes inside the cabin you see in the new design of the steering wheel, in the case of some buttons on the console, as well as the new controller of the multimedia system, which now has a wheel rotating, and four buttons around it instead of two. However, the most important new feature is the central screen. This can be up to 8 inches and, unlike what happens in the previous CLS-Class, not integrated in the dashboard (image), but that is only held in place by the bottom (image), the style of which carry the Class A and Class C.

Land Rover Discovery Sport
Land Rover already supports orders of the Discovery, Sport, although the first units will be delivered in early 2015. The more affordable version has a Diesel engine of 150 HP (SD4), four-wheel drive and costs 36 € 350 (all prices). It is a price that puts it at an intermediate position in front of the models against which it competes; for example, it is cheaper than an Audi Q5 2.0 TDI quattro of 150 HP or a Jeep Cherokee 2.0 Diesel 140 HP 4x4, but more expensive than a Honda CR-V 2.2 150 HP 4x4 or a Toyota RAV4 AWD-150 HP (comparative tab).
In the current range of Land Rover there is no model with this name, since the Discovery 2014 (more information) does not have the name "Sport". In addition, the Discovery Sport and Discovery are mechanistically distinct; in other differences, the first one has the engines in a position transverse to the direction of travel and in the second are longitudinal.
Measured 4,590 mm in length, therefore, its size is similar to that of a Honda CR-V, Opel Antara, or Mazda CX-5. The Land Rover Discovery is much greater, as measured 4,829 mm, while a Range Rover Evoque is 220 mm shorter. You may have three rows of seats and seven seats, or two rows and five squares. Depending on the equipment level selected, the second-row seats can be advanced and delay 160 mm on a lane and in two parts of proportions (40/60). The second-row seats are elevated to 50 mm from the front so that its occupants have better vision of the road and a greater feeling of spaciousness. The second, as the third, can be folded down to increase cargo capacity.
The trunk can be completed with a telescopic beam and a ribbon to secure the objects to be transported. Both the variants of five of seven seats, there is the possibility to wear or not to spare wheel without changing the volume of the trunk.

The body of the Land Rover Discovery Sport is made of steel and aluminium for the bonnet, front wings, roof and tailgate). The rear axle is multi-link and new design. Which Land Rover says about him, is that "it has been designed to minimize the intrusion of the turrets of the rear suspension in the cargo space", which "offers a tour axle articulation leaders in their class," and also that "gives rise to a behavior of fluid and controlled on secondary roads".
At the time of the launch, the range of engines is composed by two Diesel 2.2-liter with 150 (TD4) and 190-horsepower (SD4). In mid-2015 will also be able to choose one of gas belonging to the family of engines "Ingenium" Jaguar/Land Rover with 150 HP of maximum power. Later there will also be a Diesel engine (ED4) whose average consumption will be of 4.5 l/100 km (which corresponds to emissions of 119 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer) and will only be available in combination with the system of traction on the front wheels. All of them are overpowered, they are direct injection and lead Stop & Start.

. Dashboard
You can choose between two types of gearboxes. The series, which is a six-speed manual (Getrag M66) and other optional, it is automatic and has nine relations (ZF 9HP488).
There are three drive systems are possible: one in the front wheels (will be available after the launch) and two all-wheel-drive plug-in automatically. The first (called Efficient Driveline) that takes a Haldex clutch to deal, in different proportions, the force between the axles; the other is a system or conveys all the power to the front wheels or the split between the two axes, but without the possibility of sharing variable. This system called Active Driveline (available in the vehicles Discovery Sport SD4 and TD4 five-seater) has the pecualiaridad that when it operates in front-wheel drive, the transmission shaft is not rotated to be disengaged from both of the front wheels as the rear (more information and a video of the traction system Active Driveline).
As other Land Rover, there is a function called Terrain Response that, in addition to changing the response of the steering, throttle, gearbox, to the sharing of power between the wheels, the brake system control and stability, allows you to choose various programs of traction (General, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud, Ruts, and Sand). In addition, if you select the shock absorbers of variable hardness (MagneRide), there is available another program called Dynamic Mode that provides the best performance on the road.
In addition to the various programs of the drive system, other devices useful for circular field are the hill descent control (HDC) and the Sensor wading (Wade Sensing), which reports the depth of the water in the screen of the console. The height minimum ground clearance of the Land Rover Discovery Sport are 212 millimeters; angles of attack and departure are 25, 31, and 21 degrees, respectively.

You can choose from four trim levels: "S","", "HSE" and "HSE Luxury". In all of them form part of the standard equipment such as hill descent control, electric parking brake, airbag for the driver's knees, the emergency braking system (whose information takes a stereoscopic cameras, and you can avoid the collisions between 5 and 50 km/h and reduce the severity of an impact below 80 km/h) or the wizard for the involuntary change lanes. You can also keep a system of information projected on the windshield (HUD), parking assistant (on-line and battery), recognition of signals, control of the dead angle that leave the exterior rearview mirrors, a set of cameras that give a vision of the perimeter of the body or cameras that help hooking up a trailer. The headlights of the series are halogen. The more expensive versions have the headlights Signature (which combine xenon and leds) or Signature Plus, which are as above but have adaptive lighting.
There is available an entertainment system, called "InControl" that allows some of the apps on your phone you can view and control from the touch screen 8" size in the dashboard (which is a series, image). For this to be possible, the phone must be connected to the system via a USB cable.
The aspect of the Land Rover Discovery Sport can be customized to suit the tastes of each client with some elements that are specific to the bodywork, wheels of different designs, a ceiling, the color of which contrasts with the rest of the body, shields, front and rear, different finishes to the mouldings of the doors or pedals with metallic finish.

Nissan GT-R
Nissan summarizes new opponent in the eye. Very fast opponent. Instead of Ferrari 458, Porsche 911, McLaren 650S should be the next GT-R with LaFerrari, 918 and P1 can measure. The suggest at least parts of an interview, the us, the English car magazine "Top Gear" on his web site. The head of the sports Department of Nissan UK, James Oliver, suggested the use of a Hybrid drive in the next GT-R.
Oliver said to Top Gear: "I think that [a GT-R Hybrid] is the obvious direction." And nourished once again for the rumors, the Ex-Nissan-Deputy Andy Palmer in November 2013 had sown. Palmer had said at the time that he is in the next Generation of the GT-R is a type of "electrification", for example, with a Hybrid, expect.

The current GT-R Nismo to lap the Nordschleife in 7:08 minutes. With Hybrid drive, he probably would be even faster

NISSAN SO FAR (ALMOST) WITHOUT HYBRID
Whatever about the hybridization of the Tuning-classic think, is exciting in particular, the question of implementation. As a purely electric GT-R but so realistic is a Godzilla-like stripes, Nissan new paths.

Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid
The Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid E-2015 replaces the 2010 Cayenne Hybrid has the same petrol engine (3.0 liter V6 and 333 hp), but the electrical system components have been improved to give more power and autonomy and Porsche has built an outlet to recharge the battery via a plug (shown). These changes have made the maximum power of up to 379-416 hp and the average consumption drops from 8.2 to 3.4 l / 100 km (comparative tab).

The Cayenne S Hybrid is E-Sales 85,179 euros (equipment list), an intermediate price between a Cayenne Diesel 262 hp (€ 75,144) and Cayenne S petrol 420 hp (€ 93,900). The consumption of the Cayenne S Hybrid-E is clearly lower (consumption data certified for plug-in hybrids resulting from the combination, using a mathematical formula, consumption in all-electric mode and a low battery consumption). Comparative Overview of the three versions.
Only Twin Engine Volvo XC90 T8 (not reach the primevera 2015) has a comparable propulsion system. The Volvo has 400 HP and a half slower than the Porsche acceleration 0-100 km / h second, but its average fuel consumption is less (comparative data sheet). It is not easy to match the equipment of the Porsche Volvo because there are elements that are not available at one and the other other (and vice versa). In any case, trying to equalize as much as possible, the Volvo is more affordable.
The Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid can be an alternative size and power (380 hp), but the battery can not be recharged by connecting it to an outlet and, therefore, the average consumption is much higher, 8.2 l / 100 km (Datasheet comparative).
Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid-E. Model 2015
The hybrid versions of the Cayenne and Panamera (try the Panamera S Hybrid E) share scheme operation. There are two engines, one petrol and an electric motor of 95 hp maximalist -of power. The electric motor is, on one hand, attached to the combustion engine through an automatically controlled clutch and, on the other hand, the input shaft of the gearbox. The aforementioned clutch decouples the combustion engine from the transmission. The gearbox is automatic torque converter-eight relations.
The battery provides power to the electric motor is placed in the trunk, occupying the space under the floor (which is intended to spare). It is lithium ion and has a capacity of 10.8 kWh (the Panamera S Hybrid has 9.4 E-kWh). Using only the electric motor, the Cayenne S Hybrid E can reach a top speed of 125 km / h walking 36 miles in conditions of approval.
The main mode of the battery is recharged by connecting it to the mains. Within the standard equipment charger 3.6 kW included. With it, the complete battery recharge takes about as Porsche, three hours. With the optional 7.2 kW charger, the time is reduced to less than an hour and a half.
The battery is also recharged during deceleration and braking, at which the electric motor reverses its function and acts as a generator. That is, until a certain pressure on the brake pedal (on the dashboard there is an indicator that shows how much is being charged according to the force with which they are treading; image). If this pressure is exceeded, the conventional hydraulic system is responsible for braking.
Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid-E. Model 2015
The third and final way of recharging is via E-Charge mode (activated by a button on the console, image). In this way it is operated, again, the electric motor as a generator, but using the energy of the combustion engine. This is not the most efficient way to charge the battery because it uses gasoline, but can increase the electric driving range in anticipation of a subsequent car traffic restricted to low-pollution areas.
Through a mobile app, you can learn from a smartphone charge level of the battery and other information related to the hybrid system.
Turning the ignition key is turned on by default electric mode (E-Power, as called Porsche), provided there is enough power in the battery and the oil temperature is above 0 (otherwise it activates the hybrid mode). In the E-Power mode the electric motor is the one responsible for promoting the car. It does this smoothly and quietly, but being attached to said motor transmission gear changes feel (even though the box is very smooth making) and the acceleration does not have the same fluidity that is experienced as electric cars BMW i3.
In the E-Power mode can reach a top speed of 125 km / h circulating pace with other traffic. At about the halfway point of the accelerator pedal there is a resistance, which is lacking in other driving modes, which must be overcome so that the combustion engine is turned on and contribute their strength to accelerate. The instrument panel is a graph showing the power demand is requested at all times the electric motor and the ignition point of the gasoline engine.
Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid-E. Model 2015
The entry into operation of the combustion engine occurs smoothly, but its activation is evident by the increased noise in the cockpit as a slight background noise. If the pressure on the accelerator pedal drops below said resistor, the combustion engine is switched off and the power is converted back to the single impeller.
It is the first time I drive the Cayenne 2015. I've done mainly by people from southern Germany and the roads connecting them. I've also driven a little highway. Overall, I found a car comfortable suspension and a well insulated cabin noise (the drive that I led had the front windows of laminated glass, ie two sheets of glass bonded together by a plastic film). The address in the E-Power hybrid modes and moves with less effort than in the Sport and Sport Plus modes, but always gives the feeling of control and precision.
I starting driving test on the battery to stop charging, walked 28.6 miles before the gasoline engine is ignited. I got moving at a speed slightly less than the rest of the traffic and the air conditioner off. In the car we were traveling with our two respective luggage.
The mass of the Cayenne S Hybrid is E-2425 kilograms. Are more than 265 kg of S Cayenne (V6, 3.6 liter 420 HP) and 110 more than the previous Cayenne Hybrid. The T8 Twin Engine Volvo XC90 is lighter (weighs 75 kg less). However, it is a vehicle that does not feel slow at all, it has a high capacity acceleration (0-100 km / h in 5.9 s) and it can be done very quickly overtaking invading the contrary lane .
The Cayenne S Hybrid-E is distinguished from other versions in the range, among other things, the green color of certain components such as the brake calipers (shown) or needles instrumentation (image).

The Cayenne S Hybrid is E-Sales 85,179 euros (equipment list), an intermediate price between a Cayenne Diesel 262 hp (€ 75,144) and Cayenne S petrol 420 hp (€ 93,900).

Opel Corsa
Opel already supports orders of the Corsa 2015, which is available with dimensions of three-and five-door-both measure 4,02 meters of length-. While Opel has advanced the price of the more affordable version -13 540 €, with the three-door body and the gasoline engine 1.4-liter 75 HP, the versions of five doors have an additional 525 €- until November will not post the rest of the range. The first units will arrive to Spain in January of 2015.

According to Opel, this is the fifth generation of the Corsa (information of the fourth generation, the Corsa 2007, and its renewal in 2011). The chassis, suspension and steering are new. There are also new engines and gearboxes. The plastic of the dashboard are of better quality and feel the adjustments between the different parts is a car well done. The cabin is spacious, as the previous generation (more information on the impressions of the interior).
We have tested versions Corsa 3p 1.4 Turbo 100 HP and Corsa 5p 1.0 ECOTEC Turbo 116 HP. The first has a gasoline engine four-cylinder, and the second of three. Both of us have found to be satisfactory by the capacity of acceleration, noise and vibration. The suspension is comfortable and the noise inside the cabin is low. A few months before the official presentation of the Corsa 2015 we were able to test some prototypes in its last stages of development, which we used, among other things, to find out if there were differences between the suspension "Comfort" and "Sport" (more information on driving impressions).
